Event Ideas Your Attendees Have Never Seen Before
3 Ways We Create An Experiential Event
At Sublime Event Designs, we don’t believe that events are meant to be witnessed from a chair. They’re meant to be experienced. Here’s how to move attendees from passive spectators to engaged participants:
1 – Storytelling. Every event should tell a visual story. For our recent client “Through the Lens” gala, attendees walked through spandex arches symbolizing a camera lens into a black and white, greyscale/silver room.
2 – Interactive: Make guests part of the event itself. What’s that look like? Consider placing Instax-Mini cameras on each table and encouraging attendees to snap a photo together.
3 – Personalization: Take the same instant pictures and use them to create photo stems for the tables’ centerpieces. This creates a real-time personalized centerpiece.
Arrival day sets the tone for the entire corporate conference. Make guests feel welcome with a “Build Your Own Posy” station. They can handpick blooms to craft their own mini bouquet.
Why it works:
• Adds a personal touch
• Doubles as décor for their hotel room
• Creates a shareable, memorable moment
It also becomes a conversation starter, encouraging attendees to mingle and network.
Kick off your first 2025 team meeting in a healthy way. Here are three ideas:
- Set up a kombucha station. Good for your heart, gut and immunity, kombucha is the perfect way to start the day. Set up a colorful display of multiple flavors.
- Build a group exercise room and hire a trainer. Rent rowing machines or spin bikes and host a group sweat session with upbeat music and fun lighting.
- Wind down with meditation. Consider having a facilitated meditation session or sound bath at the end to relax.
Toast the New Year in a way no one has ever seen before. Create a champagne wall with faux boxwood as the backdrop. Post event, use the same wall for the guest take away. That’s what we did for a corporate event at the Tennessee Aquarium.
Cheers to disrupting the status quo.
